While archiving the Works on Paper collection, I came across this work of art. There was no evidence of a title being given to the piece by Jonothon Chenoj, so I took the liberty to name it "Public Life". I feel that the name in connection with the work resonates with our up and coming "covid culture" as we go further into this uncertain time. The attractive colors ploy a disillusion that many are tending to feel during right now of uncertainty, fear, and mistrust. Looking deeper into the work I quickly identified many features that went along with the given title.
